My good friend graduated from Temple University in 2006. She has BA degrees in English. She has been searching for jobs since graduated. Though he has no luck. She has been worked in CVS, Burger King, and Homeschooling children.
A few friends who have philosophy and political science degrees are selling insurances.
What do you think? Have you seen this before?10 points for the best advice. Do you believe everybody can find a good job with college degree?
to answer your first question, yes the person with the college degree will find a good job, but the main reason why people go to college is to get paid more than just a high school grad.10 points for the best advice. Do you believe everybody can find a good job with college degree?
Dear!
I believe, simple graduation degrees, specially, bachelors in english, urdu, economics, bla bla, never earn you a reputable 5 figure jobs. Anyone doing above degrees, will be looking an employment in some colleges or schools, to be precise and factfully, he will be employed in a school, and what does a school employment gives you? Nothing. Degrees, like, associate degrees, ACCA, CA's, MBA's, BCom's, BSc's in computers, still earn you and not earn, but work for you as well.
The trend has changed my friend. Now, accounting rules, management studies rock, and computers accompany you, so thats the reason, that graduates in languages, or some other stuff, are seen working in BURGER KING and all that stuff.
Lets hope for the best, as I myself am studying ACCA, associate degree from england.
That would depend on your definition of a ';good'; job - and if you are requiring that job to be in the area they studied in college. Our colleges and universities turn out way too many generic degree students to expect all of them to land high paying jobs right out of school. This will happen for the best of the best.
The rest are going to have to accept that they may not work in exactly the field they trained for, may have to relocate or accept lower pay than they wanted.
I do, however, think is it much tougher on a non-college grad looking hard to find a job to support a family. A college degree will get you into many doors that are otherwise closed.
Yes I do. However that also depends on the persons willingness to go out and get the job. I know people with degrees that are working in bars and are cashiers in retail chains. They all complain about they can't find a job but they do not want to take the bottom barrel starting pay jobs. They want to start at the top because they have a degree. It doesn't work that way. Sometimes you have to take a step back to go forward. You have to be willing to move or start at the bottom if need be. That is just my opinion though.
Here in Colorado it's not what you know, it's who. The fastest way to get in somewhere is to take an entry level job at your local law/ sheriff/ state/ or federal institutions. They make you take a series of tests and then once you have your foot in the door you can work from there!
yes if they have the degree and want the high paying job then yes they will 100% get it. BUT, there are cases where I have seen people who have no luck as you say.
Persistence is important.Don't take it easy...try..try..try..you will get it.
