Please can you give me some advice on leaving my serviced office early?

I have a 1 year contract with one of the big serviced office providers in the UK. I am half way into the contract and with the tough economic climate, I have decided to reduce costs and leave the office and work from home. The contract says I have to provide 2 months to leave but it also states that the earliest leaving date is at the end of the contract.

What can I do in this situation?Please can you give me some advice on leaving my serviced office early?
Tricky, in that it sounds like youre tied to further 2 months from notice to quit.

You can of course just walk away %26amp; stop any further payments.

But as property owners are in trouble renting / leasing now, and cannot afford to be looking at empty office space, they may get grumpy %26amp; chase you.

I have a freind who has nice rented office apace in North London.

He took it on at 拢12 per sq ft pa. a few years back

He recently went to the agent and said ';it has to be reduced to 拢3, or you are looking at empty space.';

They did so.

Perhaps you could cut your losses ?Please can you give me some advice on leaving my serviced office early?
Honour the contract or risk your credit rating. Perhaps you could find someone to take over the remaining balance of the contract period.
sorry dunno
