What advice would you give yourself 10 years ago?

You know, go back in time.

I just found a letter that I had written to my future self 20 years ago!!What advice would you give yourself 10 years ago?
Since I've been diagnosed with cancer I've given this question a lot of thought. I would tell myself not to be such a chicken, and do all of the things that I ever had even the slightest inkling to do. Now that I'm stuck here at home on chemo answering questions on message boards, I really wish I had since I might not have the time to do it in the future.What advice would you give yourself 10 years ago?
Dear self,

The things I am about to reveal are very';IMPORTANT';. Tomorrow morning go out and buy as much Microsoft stock as possible also,enclosed are 4 sets of winning lottery numbers .These two things will make a world of difference in your financial matters. You will me a man that you think is mister right don't judge a book by it's cover.Also, don't buy that used Merkur Scorpio.
I'd pass on the opportunity. For better or worse I wouldn't want to chance changing who I am today and the experiences that I've had that I cherish.

That isn't saying I haven't had my share of heartache, but without those mistakes I'd be less of a person than I am today.

If I had to, I wouldn't give advice, I would just say not to worry and that everything will be alright.
Man, um. I would tell myself quite a lot of things, actually. I would say to my self - ';Always listen to Jesus and follow the right path in life. Always look/search for the truth no matter what. Do good in school and stay strong in life and stay true to yourself and others.'; I would say a lot more things, but most of it is personal. That was just a general description, I might wright down. Hey, maybe if I do it now, I may end up finding again, later in life. Maybe, I'll do a MSG in a bottle and see what the outcome maybe. That'll be insteresting.
Don't give into peer pressure.

Spend every minute with her that you can, because she's gone too soon.

Don't waste time on boys, eventually the right one will come along.

Always go after what you want in life, and if it doesn't want you back then it didn't deserve you anyways.

Enjoy the little moments in life because life at its simplest is better then no life at all.
1-Enjoy your kids while there'ye young, they grow up way to fast.

2-Don't let your job rule your life,in the end it's just a job.

3-Spend more time with Family.

4-Do things you really want to do, Lifes to short to do nothing.

And finally

5-Don't sweat the small stuff and it's all small stuff.
I'd say don't be afraid to fail or what others may think. Go for it and don't blow your opportunities you will be given. Believe in yourself even when others don't have that faith in you. Think things through beforehand. Live everyday like it's your last with no regrets.
Your own happiness in what you do in life is more important than what those around you think you should be doing to be happy. Find balance in your job and home life on your own terms in order to find true happiness.
You can make lots of money if you buy stock in Google. Money won't make you happy. Don't ever, ever fear anything. Look out for #1. No one is better than you. Don't become an alcoholic.
i would tell myself to better in school then just make 98s on test and quizzes and not really do any of the homework. but that is about it and just say keep thinking about joining the military
to excel in your education it is very important

friends come and go

and in the end do what is best for yourself !
There's A LOT of things I would tell myself 10 years ago.

But the main one is....

Do what makes me happy. And to not risk my own happiness just to please other people in my life.
Dear self,

Don't marry that idiot.

Love,

Your future self.
If I could speak to myself 10 years ago I would say never trust any selves over 40 (I was 40 10 years ago.)
I'd tell myself to keep doing what I'm doing cause everything's gonna work out perfectly.
I bet that was pretty interesting to read! I would need to go back 15 years and I would tell myself ';Do NOT take flying/pilot lessons';
The next ten years are going to be difficult and test everything you believe in...learn to bend...not break.and..you will be smiling when you read this letter again:)...and..yes..I am smiling:)
I would tell myself right in the face,';Go for studies in cooking, you'll /i'll like it better than engineering';
Remain consistent.
I would tell myself, ';Do everything exactly the way I did it.';
Keep doing what you are doing.

You learn a lot and you become stronger.
Hehehe, you little mischevous spy
id give myself a lot of advice considering i was 5 10 yrs ago lol
Don't get married. Instead, study investing and how to make money work for you. Once you're rich, *then* get married...
Don't let her take advantage of you, and don't be tempted.
Invest in Apple.
kiss her. now.
Do not be afraid.
I would say that be careful with the people you call friends
bone as many chicks in college as possible
What I would say verbatim: ';Go to college, you moron.';
