Can you give me advice for my lip piercing?

ok so in a few weeks my cousin and i are getting a piercing in mexico and ofcourse we will make them clean their stuff and so. but we were thinking of getting it one day and leave it on but taking it off the next day.we will probably put it back on in a week or so but for a little amount of time. will it close up? will it still get swollen? will it get infected? how long does the swellingness stays on? and can u give us any advice.Can you give me advice for my lip piercing?
Just like when you get your ears pierced, you can't take the earring out the next day and leave it out for a week, it must stay in in the beginning to keep the hole open so it can heal with the hole there. If you cut your leg, you put something on it and keep the skin together so it grows back together, If you have a big cut they sometimes just can't put a bandage on it because it won't grow back by itself, that is why you get stitches so the skin is sewed together and then the rest grows back together. Why are you getting this in Mexico is it an age thing, are you then coming home to hide it from your parents? Think twice about getting this, especially from a foreign country where they might not have all the sterilization laws that we do, you don't want an infection on your lips, and possibly scaring or loosing your lips!Can you give me advice for my lip piercing?
Lip piercings aren't that expensive in the U.S., so unless you're gonna be in Mexico on vacation or live there - get it done in the U.S. just to be safe.

I wouldn't get the piercing in Mexico wait til you come back from your trip. If you do get the piercing then make sure you get a cleaner so you could clean both the piercing site and the piercing it will save you hassle later on. It is best to leave it in (depends where you get your pirecing on how long for) Although it is best to make sure to clean it every day twice.
My advice is to never to such an aberration to your body.
